In Greek mythology, there is a story of a young lad Hyacinth and the sun god Apollo. Hyacinth was a very attractive boy whom Apollo loved very much. Because Hyacinth was equally fond of Apollo, it made Zephyrus the wind god very jealous. Therefore, one day when Apollo was throwing discus, Zephyrus changed the wind direction so that the discus would fly off-course and as a result strike Hyacinth. Apollo was so overcome with grief for he believed he had killed Hyacinth.
