The Hanging Gardens of Babylon were one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It was traditionally said to have been built in the ancient city of Babylon, but no longer exists today. Legend has it that this 25-metre tall garden was constructed in 600 BC by Emperor Nebuchadnezzar II, the king of Babylon, as a gift to please his homesick wife Queen Amytis.
