Burdél is a word typical of our towns dialect. It means "boys and girls" or kids but only those full of life and with joy in their hearts. That carefree youth who, like all of us throughout our lives, are simply in search of happiness! The cinematographic work whose singular title Amarcord means I remember in dialect, tells the story of these carefree young people from Romagna. Curious to discover life, their journey fluctuates between dream and reality, in an insight into one of the most complex and complicated moments in Italian history. Among the Oscar winning films of the great director Federico Fellini, Amarcord is by far the one that best describes the land where Paolo and Tiziana were born, grew up and breathed in the air of the Terenzi Dolce Vita. A sweet and dreamlike spirit that has always characterized the personal and professional paths of the two inseparable siblings. Amarcord, a word from the regional vernacular, that has now been adopted into the official Italian Dictionary, is an expression of nostalgic memory and the evocation of the past. It resounds with all the poetic essence that is found in every Terenzi creation. The poetic emotions that reverberate on the notes of this perfume evoke unique feelings that can make any moment magical. Reality merges with imagination as the sky mockingly camouflages itself against the sea of the Romagna Riviera where Paolo and Tiziana often sail and always return home after their long journeys. Memories mix with dreams and at times the beauty of a real-life moment far exceeds that of any imaginary wonder, as reality becomes enchantment.
